The much awaited and loved festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with a special assembly conducted by Grades LKG and 2. The message of peace, love and brotherhood was given. The children dressed in vibrant, colourful costumes gave a mesmerizing dance performance. The assembly also included a beautiful play to highlight the importance of Diwali, the festival that brings people together. The skit conducted gave the information on why Diwali is celebrated, which was conducted in a beautiful manner. Our Principal in the end gave an enlightening talk, requesting the students to have eco-friendly Diwali and refrain themselves from burning crackers instead be the light for those who are deprived and celebrate Diwali with them and help to make a clean environment for all living beings.
